For the first time, a prominent Russian artist and professor, formerly an assistant at the Imperial Academy in St. Petersburg, Ivan Loginov, winner of numerous international competitions and exhibitions, comes to Switzerland to host a 30-hour drawing and painting workshop.
 

Ivan's process is influenced by the Russian school, with emphasis on constructive drawing and a deep conceptual understanding of shape and color.

 

The internship will be structured in two three-hour sessions over 5 days (July 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 2024):

- Drawing course (with a live model) 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

- Painting course (with a live model) 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.

During these 5 days, you will create two works of art under the direction of Ivan: a drawing and a painting of a portrait. Two different models will pose for us during this week. Ivan Loginov will begin the course with a theoretical part, followed by practical exercises and his own demonstration.

The price of the 30 hour course (note: it is not possible to participate in one or several days only) is 1200 CHF per person,  all material is provided.

Students are free to choose the material for drawing (pencil, graphite, charcoal, sauce, pastel) and for painting (oil, acrylic, tempera, gouache).

After successful completion of the workshop, participants will receive special certificates of accomplishment signed by Ivan Loginov and Artiloft.
