Become an artist
We are very happy to announce our unique program where your child can learn all aspects from A to Z to become a true artist. The program includes the basics of drawing, shading, perspective, composition and coloristics, at the end of which all participants will finish with a large artwork project. The course is open to participants from 7 to 16 years old, the tasks will be adapted to each student individually according to their level. No particular level or knowledge is required. Children are free to participate in a half or full day.
Here is the program:

Monday
Morning: Fundamentals of drawing: how to build a shape, how to draw perspective, how to apply shades and shadows.
Afternoon: Design a sketch for the big project.
14.02.23
Tuesday
Morning: Fundamentals of composition and collage. Complete the exercises.
Afternoon: Beginning of the drawing on the large canvas.
15.02.23
Wednesday
Morning: The basics of coloristics. Shades of colors and contrasts, color temperature. Complete the exercises.
Afternoon: The beginning of the big acrylic artwork.
16.02.23
Thursday
Morning: Basics of pastel and watercolor. Combine the techniques and produce a small work of art.
Afternoon: Second stage of work on the big project with acrylics.
17.02.23
Friday
Morning: Introduction to linocut. Produce the handmade prints.
Afternoon: Finishing the big artwork.
Schedule

12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. lunch break

2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. work on the big art project
Full day: Arrival time at Artiloft is 9:00 am and departure time is 5:00 pm.
Half Day: Arrival time at Artiloft is 9:00 a.m. and departure time is 1:00 p.m

It is recommended that you dress your children in clothing that is practical, suitable for the weather and non-damaging.

Please provide a lunchbox, the children bring the homemade meal and heat it up on site if necessary. Meals are taken in groups with the animators.

Snack and afternoon tea are included, consisting of seasonal fruits, delicious cookies and cereal bars.

On request, possibility of arrival at 8 a.m. and/or late pick-up at 6 p.m. for a supplement of CHF 25 per hour.
