Holiday camp :
Arts & Crafts

We are excited to announce our new creative camp in collaboration with Knock On Wood ! This unique program allows children to make their own wooden objects and sculptures , while Artiloft guides them through the design and painting process. Participants will explore a variety of artistic techniques including stenciling , gold leafing , pouring , and more. Our camp is open to children ages 7-16 and no previous experience is necessary. We encourage young artists to unleash their creativity and enjoy hands-on experience in a supportive environment.

Day 1

Monday

Morning: Creating our very first tic-tac-toe toy from scratch in a woodworking workshop.


Afternoon: Painting the toy with acrylic and POSCA markers . Learning materials, finishing and varnishing techniques.

Day 2

Tuesday

Morning :   Make our own wooden tray.

Afternoon: Application of the liquid acrylic pouring pattern on the tray and to other created objects or canvas.

Day 3

Wednesday

Morning: Creating our own wooden clock. Adding the electric mechanism.

Afternoon: Application of decoupage techniques on the clock , varnishing. Application of the technique on other created objects as well as on mugs, bottles, vases, boxes etc.

Day 4

Thursday

Morning: Creation of the sculpture on the theme “ My favorite animal ” made of wood.

Afternoon :   Paint a favorite animal in mixed media using inks , collages , markers and pastels .

Day 5

Friday

Morning: Free project in the carpentry workshop.

Afternoon: Apply the techniques learned to the remaining projects , working with stencils and gold leaf . Draw during free time.

Schedule


09:00-12:00 Carpentry workshops
12:00-13:00 Lunch break

13:00-14:00 Outdoor games and transfer to Artiloft
2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Art workshops

 

Full Day (5 days): Arrival time is 9:00 am and departure time is 5:00 pm.

Price: 695 CHF.

Half day options are not applicable to this camp.

 

  • It is recommended to dress your children in practical, weather-appropriate and non-damaging clothing.

  •  

  • Please provide a lunchbox, children bring their own home-cooked meal and heat it up on site if necessary. Meals are taken in groups with the group leaders.

  •  

  • Snacks and afternoon tea are included, consisting of seasonal fruits, delicious biscuits and cereal bars.

  •  

  • On request, possibility of arrival at 8 a.m. and/or late pick-up at 6 p.m. for a supplement of CHF 25 / hour.

  •  

  • We offer a 10% sibling discount.
