Dive into the world of fantastical creatures and bring your own dragon to life through an expressive black and white drawing! This 3-hour workshop invites participants to explore the art of ink illustration by imagining and drawing an original dragon inspired by fantasy worlds. Led by Louise Monnard, a professional illustrator and graduate of HEAD Geneva in visual communication and illustration, and a teacher at Artiloft, this workshop offers an introduction to a graphic approach where lines, shapes, and contrasts give the drawing its full power. Using a horizontal format, participants will create their own dragon by playing with curves, movement, and details that make each creature unique. They will explore different ways of working with line using Pentel brush pens and fine and broad-tipped markers to vary outlines, enrich textures, and play with contrasts between black and white. The goal is to create a personal and expressive illustration, giving free rein to your imagination and creativity.
