Service Description
Dear all, we are delighted to invite you to our special workshop – cyanotype printmaking. What is cyanotype? Cyanotype is a cost-effective photographic printing process that dates back to the early 19th century. Commonly known as blueprints, this monochrome process was widely used to copy drawings. During the workshop, you will create beautiful blue cyanotype prints on fabric and watercolor paper. By placing 2D objects onto a chemically treated material, you will create a deep blue print with luminous, ghostly white silhouettes. Bring your own dried plants, book pages, jewelry, tea, black and white photographic film negatives, or anything else you'd like to try! All other materials will be provided. At the end of the workshop, you will leave with many unique prints made on paper and fabric. NO DRAWING SKILLS REQUIRED! When? - September 20 (Sunday) from 2 pm to 6 pm For whom? - Everyone aged 7 and up; no prior experience is necessary Instructor - Mariia Andrieieva, professional illustrator, artist, and Artiloft teacher Languages - English, German, Russian The total cost of the 4-hour workshop is CHF 110 per participant, including all materials.
