Service Description

Join Peter Stalder for a day devoted to portraits and the nude figure from a live model, using coloured soft pastels on toned paper at Artiloft Lausanne. In the morning, from 09:00 to 13:00, you will create a portrait from a live model in soft pastel on toned paper. You will explore proportions, the model’s character, light and shadow. Peter will guide you with a demonstration and individual advice. The afternoon, from 14:00 to 18:00, focuses on the nude figure from a live model, using coloured soft pastels on toned paper. Peter will demonstrate his approach and guide you through your work. By the end of the day, each participant will take home at least two works: a portrait and a figure.
