A weekly creative workshop for children aged 7 to 12 Sketchbook Basics is a fun, weekly workshop for children who love to draw and want to discover new ways to create, without fear of not achieving a perfect result. The course is open to children of all levels. Whether they are just starting to draw or already regularly fill their sketchbooks, everyone can progress at their own pace and develop their skills through fun, age-appropriate exercises. The goal is to acquire a solid artistic foundation while encouraging imagination and personal expression. Children will learn to observe and simplify shapes, work with color, draw characters and animals, explore composition, and create vibrant and personal sketchbook pages. Each week focuses on a different theme or fundamental concept. After a short, accessible introduction, most of the class is dedicated to drawing, experimentation, and creation. Each session includes demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and creative prompts tailored for children aged 7 to 12. The teacher draws with the group and provides individual guidance to each participant. Children are encouraged to interpret the references in their own way. There is no single correct version, and mistakes are part of the creative process. They can follow the demonstration, experiment freely, or use their own ideas and imagination. The sketchbook becomes a personal space where children can explore, practice, and gradually develop their own visual language and self-confidence. Each session is independent, so it is possible to join the class at any time. Children can participate in a single session or make it their weekly creative activity. All materials are provided. For children aged 7 to 12. All levels are welcome.
