A weekly art workshop for children aged 7 to 12 Sketchbook Basics invites children to discover drawing in a free, fun, and progressive way. The course is suitable for both beginners and children who already draw regularly. Through a variety of themes, participants develop the essential basics of drawing: observation, shapes, colors, characters, animals, and composition. They learn to create original sketchbook pages while giving free rein to their imagination. Each session begins with a short presentation of the theme, followed by a demonstration and practical exercises adapted to the children's age. The instructor then guides each participant individually, respecting their level, pace, and ideas. The goal is not to reproduce a model exactly, but to experiment, try different techniques, and gain confidence in their own creativity. Children are free to follow the suggestions in the course or adapt them to their own personal style. Over the course of the sessions, the sketchbook becomes a space for exploration where everyone can practice, invent, and gradually develop their own style. Since the sessions are independent, it's possible to join the course at any time, either occasionally or weekly. All drawing materials are provided. Children only need to bring their own sketchbook.
