Service Description
A workshop to discover new facets of drawing, even for those who think they don't know how to draw! You will be guided by Brindusa Burrows, an internationally award-winning visual artist specializing in abstract art. Through guided exercises, you will learn to use charcoal, pastels, and paper, and give free rein to your senses: hearing, smell, sight, and touch. During the workshop, you will: - Learn the basic rules of abstract drawing and simplify your observation. - Practice a scale of values to master tones and help you express what your senses tell you. - Allow yourself to feel and express sounds, music, and textures through drawing. By the end of the workshop, you will be able to appreciate the subtleties of abstract drawing and have a solid foundation to explore these techniques in more depth. DATE: June 22, 2025 TIME: 2 PM - 5 PM LOCATION: Artiloft (Craft Factory, 4th floor), Albulastrasse 24, 8048 Zurich PRICE: CHF 165 per participant, all materials provided ADMISSION: No skill level required; adults and children aged 14 and over are welcome. Cancellation Policy
Weekly classes can be canceled free of charge with 24 hours' notice. Special workshops can be canceled free of charge with one week's notice. Workshops and workshops with visiting foreign artists must be canceled no later than one month before the start date. Summer camps and workshops must be canceled no later than one week before the start date. After this time, the full course fee will be charged.
