This 4-hour workshop offers a creative immersion to discover and begin using an artist's sketchbook as a space for exploration, research, and personal expression. The artist's sketchbook is a free, intimate, and evolving space: a place to experiment, observe, and collect ideas, images, and sensations. This workshop encourages you to create without the pressure of achieving a specific result, giving free rein to gesture, materials, and spontaneity. On the agenda: • Discover what an artist's sketchbook is and its many uses • Start your sketchbook through guided and intuitive exercises • Explore different painting techniques: acrylic, watercolor, inks, mixed media • Play with materials, colors, textures, and layering • Learn to document your creative process: notes, words, sketches, collages, traces • Develop a personal and sensitive approach to the sketchbook as a creative tool Workshop objectives: • Overcome the fear of the blank page • Freely experiment with different painting techniques • Learn to use the sketchbook as a tool for research and creative memory • Cultivate a personal and evolving artistic practice 👥 Who is this workshop for? This workshop is open to all levels, from beginners to those already engaged in an artistic practice. No prior technical skills are required, only the desire to explore and create. Participants leave with their sketchbook and have the opportunity to continue working on it during weekly workshops in Montreux. Cancellation Policy

Weekly classes can be canceled free of charge with 24 hours' notice. Special workshops can be canceled free of charge with one week's notice. Workshops and workshops with visiting foreign artists must be canceled no later than one month before the start date. Summer camps and workshops must be canceled no later than one week before the start date. After this time, the full course fee will be charged.
