Dear parents, we are thrilled to announce our amazing art camp in collaboration with XLABS. During this camp, your children will produce their own art materials in the lab and then create works of art using them! The camp is designed for children aged 7 to 12 and will run for 5 full days. No drawing skills are required. Here is the schedule: Day 1, Monday: Morning: The Art of Craft: handmade paper, making alcohol markers Afternoon: Liquid acrylics - creating artwork Day 2, Tuesday: Morning: Making your own watercolor paint Afternoon: Creating gradient artwork with homemade alcohol markers (outdoors if weather permits) Day 3, Wednesday: Morning: Transforming the microscopic world into art Afternoon: Painting with your own watercolor paint (outdoors if weather permits) Day 4, Thursday: Morning: Making your own pastel pencils Afternoon: Cyanotype printing technique Day 5, Friday: Morning: Art in Mathematics Afternoon: Drawing with pastel pencils on personal paper (outdoors if weather permits) (allows) Program: 9:00-12:00 Science workshops at X Labs 12:00-14:00 Lunch break and transfer to Artiloft 14:00-17:00 Art workshops at Artiloft Children arrive at X Labs at 9:00 and depart from Artiloft at 17:00. The price for a full week is CHF 595 per child, including all materials, snacks, and supervision. As Monday is a public holiday (Easter Monday), we also offer a 4-day option (Tuesday to Friday) for CHF 480. We offer discounts for families and those on a budget. Please note that we do not offer day or half-week participation. Upon request, early arrival at 8:00 a.m. and/or late pick-up at 6:00 p.m. are possible for an additional fee of CHF 25 per hour. Note regarding the Art + Science camp in Montreux: For participants registered in Montreux, activities in collaboration with X-Labs in Lausanne will be offered if a sufficient number of children are registered. Otherwise, the camp will proceed in Montreux with an adapted program. Artiloft will confirm the camp's status no later than one week before its start and reserves the right to cancel it if the minimum number of participants is not reached. In this case, all payments already made will be fully refunded.
