Dear artists, we are pleased to invite you to a manga character illustration workshop led by renowned artist Márcio Barra. This course offers a comprehensive introduction to manga-style illustration using Ohuhu alcohol markers, with a particular focus on essential fundamentals: clean lines, effective coloring, and a structured workflow. It is suitable for beginners as well as intermediate artists looking to discover or refine their manga coloring techniques. The workshop combines technical instruction with hands-on experimentation, allowing each participant to develop their own style while mastering the fundamental conventions of manga illustration. Who is this workshop for? • Beginner to intermediate illustrators • Manga and anime enthusiasts • Anyone curious to discover alcohol markers No prior experience with markers is required. At the end of the workshop, you will be able to: • Understand how Ohuhu markers work (ink behavior, gradients, paper selection) • Apply clean flat colors, shadows, and simple lighting • Effectively combine line art and marker coloring • Create a polished and refined manga illustration An ideal workshop to acquire a solid foundation, gain confidence, and bring your manga characters to life.
