Discover the world of manga illustration in this comprehensive 4-hour course led by artist Marcio Barra. Whether you're just starting out or looking to hone your skills, this workshop will cover everything you need to get started in the world of manga art. Learn the fundamentals of drawing, including essential inking, sketching, and toning techniques to create that authentic manga look. What You'll Learn: • Introduction to Manga Materials: Learn the tools needed to draw manga, including pens, paper, and toning. • Basic Illustration Techniques: Master the basics of sketching and inking with professional tips and tricks, including a live demonstration by Marcio. • Toning: Understand how to apply toning to your artwork to achieve that retro manga look. What You'll Get: • Hands-on experience with manga materials and techniques. • A book demonstration by Marcio Barra • A finished artwork with applied shading to take home. • Confidence in your ability to use inking and shading techniques in your own manga art. Japanese shading and cutters will be provided and you will leave the class with the skills to create stunning manga illustrations. Cancellation Policy

Weekly courses can be cancelled free of charge 24 hours in advance. Special workshops can be cancelled free of charge 48 hours in advance. Workshops and workshops with visiting foreign artists must be cancelled no later than 1 month before the start date. Summer camps and workshops must be cancelled no later than 1 week before the start date. After this deadline, the full course fee will be charged.
