We invite you to a watercolor workshop on expressive landscapes with Marina Abramova, a renowned German-Russian artist: https://www.instagram.com/abramarin_a/ www.abramarin.com Marina possesses a unique watercolor style, both expressive and abstract, which sets her apart from other artists. She has won numerous awards at exhibitions, competitions, and watercolor fairs in Europe and internationally. During this workshop, we will explore how to bring lightness to watercolor painting. Marina will show you how to use very simple subjects to create interesting and impressive watercolors. Together, we will learn to think and work not in terms of objects, but in terms of areas, and to have fun drawing lines and washes to create expressive and powerful compositions. And, of course, we will delve into the use of different brushes and color mixing. On the first day, we will paint a landscape or natural subject in the studio, and on the second day, we will apply the techniques learned to painting an urban panorama outdoors. WHEN? - March 21 and 22 (Saturday and Sunday) SCHEDULE - 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM (lunch break) 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM (6 hours per day, 12 hours total) COST - CHF 280 with your own materials or CHF 300 with materials provided. ADMISSION - The workshop is suitable for beginners, although prior experience is an asset. Children aged 14 and up. LOCATION - Day 1 indoors: Artiloft (Craft Factory, 4th floor) Albulastrasse 24, 8048 Zurich. Day 2 outdoors: the exact location will be communicated to registered participants closer to the event.
