We invite you to a watercolor workshop on expressive landscapes with Marina Abramova, a renowned German-Russian artist: https://www.instagram.com/abramarin_a/ www.abramarin.com Marina has a unique watercolor style, both expressive and abstract, that sets her apart from other artists. She has won numerous watercolor exhibitions, competitions, and fairs in Europe and internationally. During this workshop, we will focus on how to bring lightness to watercolor. Marina will show you how to use very simple subjects to create interesting and impressive watercolors. Together, we will learn to think and work not in terms of objects, but in terms of areas, and to have fun drawing lines and stains to create expressive and powerful compositions. And, of course, we will discuss in detail the use of different brushes and color mixing. On the first day, we will paint a landscape or natural subject in the studio, and on the second day, we will apply the techniques learned to painting an outdoor urban panorama. WHEN? - November 1st and 2nd (Saturday and Sunday) TIME - 10am - 1pm (lunch break) 2pm - 5pm (6 hours per day, 12 hours total) COST - CHF 280 with your own materials or CHF 300 with materials provided. ADMISSION - The workshop is suitable for beginners; previous experience is an asset. Children ages 12 and up. LOCATION - Day 1 indoors: Artiloft, Avenue des Alpes 104, 1820 Montreux.
