Sculpture Classes - Adults & Teens (Ages 13+) An ideal course to discover or deepen your understanding of the art of sculpture, develop your observational skills, and learn to "think in three dimensions." Over the course of the sessions, you will learn to model in clay, starting from a solid foundation: • understanding volumes, axes, and proportions; • building a simple form before moving on to the details; • working with light and shadow to bring out the relief; • feeling rhythm, balance, and movement in a sculpture. We will explore various subjects: busts and portraits, hands, feet, drapery, small figures, everyday objects, or more personal projects. The goal is to give each student a clear method for moving from what they see (or imagine) to a coherent sculpted form. The instructor guides each participant step by step, with particular attention paid to observation, understanding anatomy, and the use of clay. This course is open to beginners as well as intermediate and advanced students. The approach is adapted to each individual's level, allowing for personalized progress, whether for: • a first introduction to sculpture; • refining technique and finishing techniques; • developing a personal artistic project or a future portfolio. A supportive space to experiment, learn at your own pace, and give shape to your inner vision.
